 Fall Writing

            Fall is my favorite season, and there are many reasons for this. One reason I like fall is you usually do a corn maze, and I love that sensation of being in a maze, trying to find my way out. Another reason I have for loving fall is fall break. The reasons I like fall break are I get some time away from school, and I can do a lot of fun things with my family. One more reason I like fall is I can do raking to earn money. I also like fall because of the mild weather, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. This is why I like fall so much.

My 7th week of 5th grade was very fun. One thing we did was a kahoot on prepositions. Another thing we did was fall writing, which you will be seeing soon. The most fun we had was definitely the white and orange party we did, which was very fun. My 7th week was very fun.

My 6th week of 5th grade was really fun. First, we did this thing called a kahoot, which is a type of quiz that is really fun to do. Next, we did a mystery Skype with a class in Iowa, and a mystery Skype is where you have two groups of people, or just two people, who don’t know where the other person is, and the two groups doing it give clues about where they are to the other team, and the whole point is to guess where the other group is. The last thing I did was helped make a commercial, but all I did in it was hold up a green screen. This was a very fun week for me.

This is my 5th week of 5th grade.  This week, I learned how how to mentally multiply.  I also learned which major civil war battles the union won, and which ones the confederates won.  One more thing I learned was how to tell a compound sentence from a complex sentence, and I was one of the only people who got a 100 on the test for the subject.  This was my 5th week of 5th grade.

On week four of 5th grade, I did many things.  One of those things were learning how to find themes.  Another thing I learned is that when you are typing, you put two spaces in front of a punctuation instead of one.  One more thing I learned was a new set of root words.  This was a heck of a week for me!
